Texas Calculatem Pro
I like Calculatem Pro. It has all the basic features you would expect from a Poker Calculator, has punchy good-looking graphics, lots of options to set, and even goes so far as to give you a recommendation about each hand.
It does have its negatives though. The technology it uses is a bit out-of-date (compared to Holdem Inidicator at least), and this means the Poker room window must be kept open at all times. It also means it can be a bit slow at times - taking a few vital seconds to realise what hand you have and to give you advice. Also, it doesn't give you exact pot odds, prefring to give an overview (such as "Pot odds are favourable"), which can sometime get you into trouble.
Also significant is that fact that Calculatem Pro doesn't give any Player stats at all. In this, it loses out significantly to Holdem Indicator.
Overall, though, it's another great calculator. One feature I especially like is the hand ranking that is given. This is the rank of a particular hand in relation to the others, and is a useful indicator.
To summarise Calculatem Pro's plus points:
- Hand Ranking Given
- Recommendation given
- Looks great
And its negative points:
- Can be slow, and uses inferior technology
- No player stats given
So Calculatem Pro's final review table looks as follows:
| Factor | Rating out of 5 |
| Speed | 3/5 |
| Looks | 5/5 |
| Options | 5/5 |
| Player Stats | 0/5 |
| Hand Ranking | 5/5 (This is displayed) |
| Win Odds | 5/5 |
| Pot Odds | 5/5 |
| Licence | 3/5 (Licence expires after 1 year) |
| Force Registration? | 0/5 (You must register at a Poker room) |
| Overall | 5/5 |
